Why MS Dhoni loses cool during CSKvsMI match

Image
MS Dhoni is one of the calmest captains in the business, but he too lost his cool after an on-field confusion with Dwayne Bravo that led to a dropped catch on Sunday against Mumbai Indians in Dubai. The episode transpired in the 18 th over of the MI innings when Saurabh Tiwary looked to take on Deepak Chahar, only to find a top edge. The ball was going straight into the hands of Dwayne Bravo who was standing at the short fine-leg region. However, since MSD had the gloves in his hands, he ran after the ball to catch it. Both the players had their eyes only on the ball and the catch was dropped as a result of the miscommunication between the duo.   This is when Dhoni lost his cool as he instantly fumed at Dwayne Bravo, who also looked visibly disappointed with the CSK captain coming in his way. Although it was quite strange to see Dhoni in such anger, it was understandable considering the fact that it could have been a match-turning moment. Watch here-

Big Statement from Kuldeep Yadav for KKR team management

Image
Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has hit out at the Kolkata Knight Riders team management and captain Eoin Morgan for lack of communication during the first part of the Indian Premier League season.   Yadav didn’t feature in even one of the seven matches played by KKR and that might have cost him a chance of proving his credentials again.   The left-arm wrist spinner hasn’t held back while talking about his team.   “If the coaches have worked with you before and are with you for a prolonged period of time, they understand you better. But it becomes very difficult when the communication is weak. Sometimes you don’t even know that whether you will be playing or not, or what the team expects from you,” Yadav told Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel. He became the first bowler for India to take two hat-tricks in international cricket. His first hat-trick came against West Indies in 2019 while his second hat-trick came against Australia in 2020. Sadly, he hasn’t been used pro

With former Pakistan captains Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis resigning from their respective posts of head coach and bowling coach a week ago, PCB were in immediate need of refurbishing their support staff especially before a world event. Ramiz cited the aggression and quality of the players as defining reasons for their hiring. “Matthew Hayden is Australian, and has experience of winning World Cups and was a great player himself,” Ramiz said in the press conference held at PCB headquarters. “It might be very beneficial to have an Australian occupying the dressing room. And Pakistan, of course, can win the World Cup, they just need to improve their performances an extra 10 per cent. In Phase 1 of the IPL, du Plessis was again one of the leading run-getters, scoring 320 runs in just seven games Du Plessis has been a staple at the top of the order for CSK over the years, and should he miss out, it will be a huge blow to MS Dhoni and Co. The three-time champions already have doubts about the participation of their England stars Moeen Ali and Sam Curran, while there is no backup in place for Du Plessis, other than Robin Uthappa and N Jagadeesan. CSK begin their campaign on September 19, when they take on the Mumbai Indians. Watch Here-

India vs England 5th Test cancelled due to COVID-19 cases in Indian camp

Image
The fifth Test between England and India is scheduled to begin at Old Trafford in Manchester has been indefinitely postponed to a later date, probably next year, the decision was taken after the BCCI and ECB mutually decided that it is the best way forward in wake of the Covid-19 scare that has gripped the series. “Due to fears of a further increase in the number of Covid-19 cases inside the camp, India is regrettably unable to field a team. We send our sincere apologies to fans and partners for this news, which we know will cause immense disappointment and inconvenience to many.” The ECB are keen to get the match on and are floating the idea of starting on Sunday. However, the sticking points seem to be that some figures within the BCCI wants the match to be canceled outright. Should the BCCI get their way, it would cost the ECB £30 million.
