 Indian Cricket team will announce the squad for WC T-20 soon.

Virat Kohli will lead India and enter the tournament as one of the favorites to win the trophy. Notably, India is placed in Group 2 alongside New Zealand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. They will face arch-rivals Pakistan in their first match of the World Cup event.

PROBABLE PREDICTIONS

There are many automatic selections in the squad and only a few spots are up for grabs. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul look all but set to be named as frontline openers while Prithvi Shaw could compete with Shikhar Dhawan for the 3rd opener's spot. The middle-order will also be stacked with the presence of Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav and others. The focus will be Shreyas Iyer and it remains to be seen if gets the nod or not. He hasn't played any competitive fixture since March.

Jasprit Bumrah will lead the pace attack, which will have Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Deepak Chahar. Yuzvendra Chahal will lead the spin attack.
