Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2021 Schedule

 The entire season will take place at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre behind closed doors.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai welcomed the league to the state.

"Kabaddi is a genuine indigenous sport of India and very popular in Karnataka. We welcome and support the conduct of forthcoming Pro Kabaddi Season 8 in our state," Bommai said in a statement.

The orgainisers further stated that the league will implement protocols to comply with government regulations and guidelines and will work with specialised safety agencies to implement stringent safety practices and create a bio-secure bubble.

Mashal Sports, orgainsers of the event, said that keeping the health and safety of the players and all stakeholders in mind, this year the league will be held without spectators at a single venue in Bengaluru, moving away from the traditional caravan format.

Speaking on the return of PKL 2021, Anupam Goswami, CEO, Mashal Sports and League Commissioner VIVO PL said: "Bengaluru has all the facilities for the conduct of big competitive sports events with best safety practices, and we look forward to demonstrating this with PKL Season 8."

IPL 2021 Points table and other Details

  The phase 2 of 14 th  edition of IPL is going to  start on 19 September 2021 and finals will be played on 15 th October in UAE. IPL 2021 was kicked off on April 9 was slated to end on May 30 but the rise in COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubbles forced the tournament to be called off on May 4. Later, in the month, BCCI announced that the remainder of the tournament will take place in UAE, the venue which had hosted the entire 13th edition of the mega event last year.   BCCI, now has started its preparations to host the remaining 31 matches. All the matches will be completed in a window of 25 days. The matches are going to be played in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai just like the last year's IPL. Pakistan appoint new coaches before World cup T20 2021

 Former Australia Test opener Matthew Hayden and ex-South Africa pacer Vernon Philander has been appointed as coaches of the Pakistan team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE, the board announced on Monday. With former Pakistan captains Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis resigning from their respective posts of head coach and bowling coach a week ago, PCB were in immediate need of refurbishing their support staff especially before a world event.
