  The phase 2 of 14 th  edition of IPL is going to  start on 19 September 2021 and finals will be played on 15 th October in UAE. IPL 2021 was kicked off on April 9 was slated to end on May 30 but the rise in COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubbles forced the tournament to be called off on May 4. Later, in the month, BCCI announced that the remainder of the tournament will take place in UAE, the venue which had hosted the entire 13th edition of the mega event last year.   BCCI, now has started its preparations to host the remaining 31 matches. All the matches will be completed in a window of 25 days. The matches are going to be played in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai just like the last year's IPL. Pakistan appoint new coaches before World cup T20 2021

 Former Australia Test opener Matthew Hayden and ex-South Africa pacer Vernon Philander has been appointed as coaches of the Pakistan team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE, the board announced on Monday. With former Pakistan captains Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis resigning from their respective posts of head coach and bowling coach a week ago, PCB were in immediate need of refurbishing their support staff especially before a world event. Ramiz cited the aggression and quality of the players as defining reasons for their hiring. “Matthew Hayden is Australian, and has experience of winning World Cups and was a great player himself,” Ramiz said in the press conference held at PCB headquarters. “It might be very beneficial to have an Australian occupying the dressing room.
