 From KL Rahul and Joe Root's fantastic centuries to an exceptional partnership between Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah to a fierce war-of-words between Kohli & Anderson, it was undoubtedly a perfect spectacle of Test cricket, with so much passion and emotion involved. India won the second test match at Lords and is in lead of 1-0 in the series. Amidst all this, there was one moment that probably went unnoticed during the match.

Rohit Sharma Took a Stunner Catch At slip

Rohit Sharma did miss an opportunity in the second innings when he dropped Haseeb Hameed early in the innings. But he did redeem himself in the final stages of the match but everyone missed the moment amidst all the celebration of Indian victory. However, everyone was rejoicing the moment, when Siraj cleaned James Anderson’s stumps as India won at Lord’s after seven years, but many of us failed to notice Rohit Sharma’s stunning catch, which wasn’t a part of any dismissal.

Siraj used the good length delivery to knock Anderson’s off-stump, after dislodging the bails, the ball flew towards the second slip region, where Rohit completed a stunner with his right hand.

  The opening match of the TNPL 2021 was played between Lyca Kovai Kings and Salem Spartans.   Batting first, Lyca Kovai Kings reached 168 for 5 in 18 overs . Debutant Bhardwaj Sai Sudharsan made a sparkling 43-ball 87 for the Lyca Kovai Kings that includes 8 fours and 5 sixes , before rain played spoilsport at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday.
