Zimbabwe and Bangladesh agree to bring forward their T20I series; Change in schedule
The three-match T20I series between Zimbabwe
and Bangladesh has
been brought forward, Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed. The two boards
have agreed to make minor changes to the schedule, following which the first
T20I will be played on July 22, instead of July 23. The second and third T20I
will be played on July 23 and July 25 in Harare. As per the original schedule,
the T20I series was supposed to end only on July 27. As per the statement from Zimbabwe Cricket, the
changes in the fixtures were made were made in order to “address the scheduling and
logistical challenges that the tour’s broadcast production company was facing.”
HOW DID THE
SERIES WENT SO FAR ?
The visitors- Bangladesh have
been fantastic on their overseas tour. After dashing off Zimbabwe in the
one-off Test to lift the series, Bangladesh have won two matches of the 3-match
ODI series between the two sides as well. While the Tigers have already won the
ODI series, they would try whitewashing Zimbabwe in the final ODI contest
scheduled on July 20.
