 BCCI Announced The Remaining Schedule Of The IPL 2021

The phase 2 of 14th edition of IPL is going to  start on 19 September 2021 and finals will be played on 15th October in UAE. IPL 2021 was kicked off on April 9 was slated to end on May 30 but the rise in COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubbles forced the tournament to be called off on May 4. Later, in the month, BCCI announced that the remainder of the tournament will take place in UAE, the venue which had hosted the entire 13th edition of the mega event last year.

 

BCCI, now has started its preparations to host the remaining 31 matches. All the matches will be completed in a window of 25 days. The matches are going to be played in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai just like the last year IPL. The franchises have already started exploring for the logistic challenges talk with UAE hotels.

Delhi Capitals (DC) were the top-ranked IPL side in the IPL points table before the season came to an abrupt end due to the pandemic. There is also a view that Delhi Capitals (DC) should be declared as the winner of IPL 2021 based upon their hot-streak until Match 29. Delhi Capitals, with six wins in 8 matches, had 12 points and is recognized as one of the teams that could be crowned the IPL winners in 2021.

Big Statement from Kuldeep Yadav for KKR team management

  The opening match of the TNPL 2021 was played between Lyca Kovai Kings and Salem Spartans.   Batting first, Lyca Kovai Kings reached 168 for 5 in 18 overs . Debutant Bhardwaj Sai Sudharsan made a sparkling 43-ball 87 for the Lyca Kovai Kings that includes 8 fours and 5 sixes , before rain played spoilsport at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday. Sudharsan made a partnership with opening batsman Kavin Ravi, who made 33 runs in 41 deliveries, putting on a stand of 121 runs for the second wicket.
